I’m an award-winning filmmaker focusing on stories of immigration, memory and cultural integration.

In 2020, I was the creative producer on the Selena campaign for Netflix overseeing everything from short docs, international TV ads, artwork and more. I also directed and executive produced the Undocumented Under COVID series for United We Dream, the largest undocumented youth network in the US.

In 2019 I directed and executive produced the Home Is Here campaign for UWD. The films were embedded within the SCOTUS amicus brief for DACA, the first of its kind, and screened at the SCOTUS hearing. In 2020 the campaign won the Shorty Award for Best Social Movement Campaign and we won the case for DACA.

In 2017-2019 I was the founding director at Zoe Saldana’s production company, BESE, aimed at highlighting marginalized communities. In 2017 I founded the Bay-Area Video Consortium chapter, a creative community of emerging non-fiction filmmakers. In 2014-2016, I helped launch Fusion, a joint-venture between Disney and Univision.

I have created work for global brands like Spotify, Tecate, Google and Clinique and for Grammy-winning artists like Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade and Kali Uchis
Born in Bogota, I currently live between Los Angeles and Miami and am in development for a feature film about the evolution of Tejano music.
